NextGen Network was founded in 1999 as a youth affiliate of The Executive Leadership Council™, the nation's premier leadership network of the most senior African American corporate executives in Fortune 500 companies. NextGen Network is a world class professional organization that offers career and professional development, community service opportunities, and points of connectivity for African-American business professionals.

NextGen Network's mission is to create a professional network and development opportunity for African American professionals, to serve as an extension of The Executive Leadership Council and its charitable affiliate The Executive Leadership Foundation, to provide career and professional development for future business leaders, and to offer community outreach programming and support.
