NextGen Network has a strong desire to positively impact the lives of African-American youth by providing mentoring activities and academic sponsorships that expand their vision of life and its possibilities. In this spirit, the NextGen Network is pleased to announce Entergy’s sponsorship of our first business case team competition, an extension to the Donna Jamison Lago Memorial Scholarship Program.

The business case competition exhibits NextGen Network’s commitment to education, while adding a team-oriented element to the scholarship program that encourages high school students to collaborate and exchange ideas on important issues. The competition’s goal is to tap into the power of teamwork. In doing so, we hope to demonstrate the positive outcomes that are achieved when individuals unite. By promoting the group component, we envision this experience to be extremely valuable for students – an experience that transcends to future endeavors in education, their profession and the community.
