Founded in 1999, NextGen Network is a membership organization and professional network that offers leadership development and points of connection for mid-career professionals, with a special emphasis on African-American leaders and American citizens. Our mission is to provide the resources, tools, and network to support the career advancement interests of our members, as well as to complement and support the talent retention efforts of businesses seeking to keep high performing team members with senior-executive-potential engaged.

NextGen Network is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and an affiliate of The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), the nation’s premier network of African-American senior leaders in Fortune 500 firms. In order to answer the demand, while also maintaining the high caliber and integrity of its membership, NextGen Network has launched the Professional Class Membership (PCM) process. This competitve membership intake process is offered once annually, generally occurring between December and February of each year.
