between The Executive Leadership Council and NextGen
Network?
NextGen Network is a supporting organization
of The Executive Leadership Council. NextGen Network was created to facilitate continued interaction,
mentoring, and relationship building between Executive
Leadership Council members and participants in
its young professional programs. NextGen Network is the primary vehicle for implementing Executive
Leadership Council strategies for building the
pipeline of African American leaders in Corporate
America and the community.
Q) How does one become a member of NextGen Network?
What does membership entail? NextGen Network membership eligibility is based on a selective
process which assesses the applicant's professional,
academic and civic accomplishments as well as
their potential for future growth in Corporate
America. Active membership requires payment of
annual dues, active participation on a committee,
and participation in NextGen Network activities.
Q) Where is NextGen Network located and
are there local chapters?
The NextGen Network headquarters is located
in Washington, DC. However, NextGen Network
is a national membership organization. There are
no local chapters; all membership is within a
single group.
Q) Does NextGen Network provide grants?
No, NextGen Network is not a grant making
organization; however, the organization does sponsor
the annual Donna Jamison Lago essay scholarship
competition for high school seniors.
