NextGen Network seeks to build out a mentoring program
which will allow members to pair up with essay competition participants
to mentor them throughout their college careers. Members will
provide the support structure and professional resources that
these students will need as they navigate the academic landscape.
After these students transition from academia, NextGen Network members will provide them with continued support as they
embark on their professional lives. The goal is for an ongoing
cycle to form where essay competition winners evolve into NextGen
Network members creating a pipeline of talented, committed
members for the organization.
As a pipeline organization itself, NextGen Network understands
the value of mentorship and having the support of those who have
traveled the road before you. Since NextGen Network's inception,
the organization's members have had virtually unlimited access
to the senior most African American professionals in corporate
America through affiliation with The Executive Leadership Council
as one of its pipeline organizations. Our mission is to provide
the same level of access and support for our essay competition
participants as we develop our pipeline.
